01 / Release inventory

Libraries supplied with the solver

The beta column reflects published release documentation. The next-release column describes the libraries linked by a pre-release build reviewed on 7 October 2026, not a finalized distribution package. Final packaged versions may differ.

The published releases are 0.9.0-beta.1 and 0.9.0-beta.2. Version and license information should be read together with the particular package you receive.

About redistribution notices

HDF5 and libaec require their copyright notices, license conditions and disclaimers to accompany binary redistribution. zlib requires its notice to remain in source distributions; acknowledgement in binary product documentation is appreciated but not required. Its original license is included here voluntarily.

This website provides reference copies. It does not replace notices that must accompany a solver distribution, and publication of this page does not modify previously downloaded packages.

02 / GPU software

NVIDIA components

The following inventory applies to the reviewed pre-release build using CUDA Toolkit 13.1 Update 1. Header libraries can contribute compiled code even when no separate DLL is shipped.

CUDA Runtime

NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit license

GPU execution support, statically linked into the solver. The runtime is covered by NVIDIA’s SDK agreement and CUDA Toolkit supplement, including its redistribution conditions.

CCCL: CUB, Thrust & libcu++

BSD and Apache licenses; see component notices

CUDA C++ header libraries used during compilation, including headers included through CUB. CUB and Thrust version 3.1.4 are identified in the reviewed toolkit. Licensing includes BSD-3-Clause and Apache-2.0; the LLVM exception applies to the files that carry it. The full upstream license collection is provided below.

NVTX v3

Apache-2.0 WITH LLVM-exception

Headers for profiling annotations. The upstream license and its LLVM exception are provided together.

NVTX license text ↗
Compiled headers and the LLVM exception

For qualifying portions embedded in object code as a result of compiling application source, the LLVM exception waives the conditions in Apache License sections 4(a), 4(b) and 4(d). It does not remove separate BSD notice requirements. The original license texts govern the relevant components.

The NVIDIA driver and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable are user-installed runtime prerequisites. They are not part of the component files listed above.
